Dr Stavroula Leka is Professor of Work Organization and Well-Being at University College Cork. She is also Emeritus Professor of Work & Health Policy at the University of Nottingham, UK.
Dr S. Armagan Tarim is Professor of Information Systems and Business Analytics at University College Cork.

Working in an interdisciplinary manner across three departments in CUBS (Business Information Systems, Economics, and Management and Marketing), and in partnership with colleagues elsewhere in the university, the Centre focuses on distinct but interconnected research thematics and industry, government or EU-specific projects, the emerging structure and governance of the GCI is illustrated in Figure 1.

The GCI continues to grow. In its current format, the Executive consists of the three directors and other members of the management group. There is a wide network of Affiliated faculty, International Research Fellows, and Postgraduate Research Students. A key priority is the establishment of an Industry Advisory Board. In due course, it is envisaged that the Institute will expand to include Visiting Fellows, Research Fellows, Technical Staff, and Administrative Staff.
