On 24 January 2020, Dr. Fergal Carton and Dr. Joe Healy from the Cork University Business School hosted a visit to the University by the MCI Management Center in Innsbruck, Austria. The group travelling were led by Prof. Simon Czermak and their Lecturer Brian Galvin and consisted of third semester students of MCI’s Master’s programme in Strategic Management & Law.
The aim of their tour was to visit different companies and universities and to provide insights on how business is done in multinational companies, highlight the challenges and opportunities, as well as to help students to grow their professional network. The group visited the University, fresh from a visit to Dell. The group engaged in a seminar and availed of a tour of the University organized by the Visitor’s Centre.
