Peer Leaders acknowledged for their invaluable work
Reception for Peer Leaders

Peer Leaders were acknowledged by Dr. Eleanor Doyle, head of School, and other members of staff for the invaluable work they undertook with first year Peer Learners.  

Peer Leaders were acknowledged by Dr. Eleanor Doyle, head of School, and other members of staff for the invaluable work they undertook with first year Peer Learners this year in a reception in the School Common Room on March 1st 2016.  132  first year Economics students attended one or more of the sessions on this year’s PAL programme which explored  many topics from ‘ academic writing skills for success’ to  ‘Kick Start Your Career from 1stYear’ to ‘presentation skills to give students the edge’ and more.  The Peer Leaders are pictured above with Dr. Bernadette Power coordinator of the programme, and Ms. Maria Coakley, the business leader who works with the Peer Leaders to deliver the programme, and Dr. Eleanor Doyle.  From left to right this year’s peer leaders were Mr. Luke Doyle (BScFin IV), Ms. Sarah McMahon (BA III) ,  Mr. William Ormond (BA III), Ms. Aisling Cronin (BComm IV), Mr. Eoin Doyle (BScFin IV), and Mr. Brian McSweeney (BA Through Transformational Learning).
