A team of MSc Corporate Finance students received the success for their community research project on the Carrigaline Lions Youth Centre.
The students produced the report as part of UCC’s Community-Academic Research Links (CARL) programme. Their report, "Feasibility Study for Youth Centre Café", was one of 50 reports produced as part of the programme.
The work was recognised as an “outstanding example of community engagement with a high potential for impact”.
Professor John O’Halloran, Vice-President for Teaching and Learning, UCC, presented the award.
The award winning students were: Emma Keane, Conor Scannell, Peter Bresnan, Conor O'Donovan, Ruiqian Yan and Sean Lordan. Dr Steve O’Callaghan of Cork University Business School supervised the research.
