Fiona Buckley, Head of Operations Cork Southwest for Failte Ireland delivered an invited guest lecture to the MSc in Management and Marketing programme

Ms Fiona Buckley, Head of Operations Cork Southwest for Failte Ireland delivered an invited guest lecture on International Visitor Insights, Trends and Strategies to the MSc in Management and Marketing programme on Wednesday 27th January 2016. In the two hour interactive session, Fiona highlighted the latest visitor insights, research and trends behind the development of Tourism Ireland's highly successful three experience brands - The Wild Atlantic Way, The Ancient East and Dublin. Fiona also provided an overview of the 2016 tourism strategy for Cork  which was officially launched the previous day, 26 January 2016.

According to Dr. Carol Kelleher, Lecturer in Marketing who hosted and facilitated the talk, "the presentation was extremely interesting and engaging and provided an excellent 'real world' contextual background for the MSc students currently undertaking an applied integrated marketing communications and social media marketing plan for a range of tourism organisations targeting both international and domestic visitors to Ireland."
