Over 3 days at CUBS a group of B2B marketing academics from Ireland, the UK, Norway and Australia held a workshop with participants from a range of industries. The academic-industry workshop was a fantastic way for us to share knowledge and create pathways for impactful collaboration.
It created a unique opportunity for academics to share their research and industry participants to offer real life insights into the challenges they face. Hands-on activities enhanced interaction and broke down perceived barriers between academia and industry. Participants had the opportunity to reflect on how they could overcome challenges and academics could see where their research could enhance practice. Additionally, the workshop facilitated extensive networking opportunities and the relationships established are set to lead to further collaboration.
The success of the workshop stands as a testament to the potential of industry and academia collaboration. As we reflect on the achievements of the event, we eagerly anticipate the lasting impact it will have on research and industry practice.
