Biography
Claire joined CUBS as Strategic & Accreditation Data Analyst in 2019, in her role she primarily supports data requirements for accreditation and is the system administrator for Accredinator, the School's accreditation software. Before working in CUBS, she worked as a Senior Instructional Designer in the Office of the VP for Learning and Teaching where she worked collaboratively with staff to plan, develop, manage and deliver online/blended programmes. While there, she developed several support resources for staff in the area of Technology Enhanced Learning and was also the lead organiser and trainer for several training initiatives including the university-wide Canvas Training programme which trained over 1000 UCC staff when Canvas was introduced. Before working as a Senior Instructional Designer, Claire held an IT project management role at State Street, a multinational fund administrator and also worked in several short-term posts in Higher Education at UCC, Brunel University and Imperial College London.
Claire currently sits on the University Academic Learning & Teaching Committee, CUBS Learning & Teaching Committee, CUBS PRME Committee, CUBS Digital Learning & Teaching Subcommittee, Research Information System Workstream for Data Policies and was a member of the CUBS Athena Swan Self Assessment Team which obtained the bronze award in 2024.
