This AimSteady startup was supported with an Innovation Voucher funded by Enterprise Ireland. CUBS Senior researcher, Dr Simon Woodworth, carried out the Innovation Voucher research during 2016. This included development of a proof of concept for AimSteady - an Android mobile app connected to a wearable sensor button. The app was demonstrated on an army firing range in front of potential investors. The success of the demonstration allowed AimSteady to secure an initial €100,000 in venture capital funding.
