The next webinar will take place on June 2nd, 2021 between 12-1pm and will focus on current debates in Digital Health in relation to the accelerated adoption of digital health technologies.

The next webinar will take place on June 2nd, 2021 between 12-1pm and will focus on current debates in Digital Health in relation to the accelerated adoption of digital health technologies. We are delighted to be joined by Dr Johnny Walker, Founder and Executive Chairperson at Jinga Life; and Dr Ciara Carroll, Public Health Informatics Registrar with the HSE COVID-19 Contact Management Programme.

Prior to founding Jinga Life, Johnny has worked for many years in the health sector as an Interventional Radiologist and Nuclear Physician, as well as being a seasoned innovator of digital health interventions.

Ciara is a past graduate of the MSc Digital Health Programme and will speak to her experience of using digital health technologies in practice. In her current role In, she is involved in the design of the CovidCare Tracker system and reporting on operational and clinical areas of interest for the CMP. This involves the production of reports for various stakeholders including the National Public Health Emergency Team, the HSE Test and Trace Executive Management Team and the Department of Health

The event will be hosted Trish O’Shaughnessy, CUBS Postgraduate Programme Manager, Prof. Ciara Heavin (Co-founder of DH) and Dr Wendy Rowan (co-director of DH). The topics under discussion will include:

  • Key aspects of the accelerated adoption of digital health technologies.
  • Industry experts will speak to the supports for success and the potential solutions that digital health can offer.
  • Graduate and professional development career opportunities in health and allied services.
