A public lecture on rural development by Fergal Gough from Cork County Council, will take place on campus on Wednesday 21st March.
Fergal Gough is a Senior Community & Enterprise Development Officer working at Cork County Council. He has a comprehensive practical knowledge of current Irish rural development policy and practices. Since 2000 he has worked with a range of government agencies including Teagasc, South-East Regional Authority; Southern Regional Assembly and most recently, Cork County Council. In this time he has delivered a diverse portfolio of EU, Local, Economic and Community Development Projects.
