CPD/Executive Education

The Department of Management and Marketing have a developing profile in the executive education and CPD area and offer programmes to a number of national and international organisations in conjunction with Adult Continuing Education at UCC. Key programmes in the current CPD suite are our Masters in Human Resource Management and Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management which are both CIPD accredited

The Department, in collaboration with ACE, has much involvement with the following programmes:

The Department delivers bespoke programmes for middle/senior management in management and leadership.  These programmes are facilitated by ACE and new relationships with industry, e.g. Allianz Worldwide, DePuy, Pfizer, Boston Scientific, Dept. of Social Protection etc., are constantly being developed.

The Head of Department is the Director of the Executive MBA which is very successfully delivering executive education to the Muster region.

The UCC Executive MBA adopts a distinctively different approach to that of many standardised offerings. Most importantly, the programme has a strong focus on developing the whole person. In addition to delivering the technical skills expected of managers in dealing with the day-to-day challenges facing business, there is a pronounced and unique emphasis over the entire two-year programme on developing the holistic leadership skills of the participants.
