The College of Business and Law at University College Cork recently hosted an insightful Sustainability Research Showcase, drawing over 50 attendees from across the university and featuring presentations from more than 30 researchers around several different sustainability topics. The showcase served as a platform to highlight a diversity of research activities and provided an opportunity for researchers from different areas to discuss a variety of key sustainability issues.

The showcase exemplified UCC's commitment to sustainability, bringing together experts and researchers to discuss innovative solutions and strategies. The presentations covered a broad spectrum of topics, emphasizing the interdisciplinary nature of sustainability.

The topics explored and presented covered the areas of Economic and Environmental Sustainability, Social Sustainability and Law, Sustainable Business Practices and Sustainable Consumption Technological Innovation for Sustainability and more.  A full list of presentations and topics can be found here

The Sustainability Showcase reflected UCC’s dedication to addressing global sustainability challenges, a key strategic goal for the university. The event facilitated meaningful exchanges of ideas and demonstrated the critical role of interdisciplinary research in driving sustainable development.
