Dr Nick Chisholm (Dept. Food Business and Development, and Director of the Centre for Global Development), Dr Edward Lahiff (Lecturer, Dept. Food Business and Development) and Ms Long Pham (UCC International Office) attended the international conference on Urbanisation and Development held in Hanoi, Vietnam on 7th December 2017.
The conference, which was co-organised by the UCC’s Department of Food Business and Development and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, part of the National University of Vietnam, was attended by a wide range of delegates from government, multilateral organisations, civil society and academia.
This is the second annual conference to be co-organised by the UCC and USSC as part of a multi-year partnership under the Vietnam Ireland Bilateral Education Exchange (VIBE) programme, supported by Irish Aid.
