Cork University Business School at University College Cork has been awarded accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a mark of global excellence in business education.
CUBS has now been accredited by the AACSB and AMBA (Association of MBAs), making it a double accredited Business School, of which there are fewer than 200 globally.
Why is Accreditation so important?
Less than 5% of the world’s business schools have earned AACSB accreditation, which means that AACSB accredited schools are considered to be the best. Here in CUBS, we have further earned AMBA accredititation, which places us among the top 2% of business schools worldwide.
Accreditation means that a business school’s undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and executive education programs have passed rigorous standards for quality, and that their programmes teach the knowledge and skills that employers require.
In short, AACSB accreditation confirms that CUBS delivers a globally recognised standard of education.
