Not Business As Usual , is a new exhibition in the Glucksman Gallery that involved a collaboration between CUBS students and a local artist, Miriam O'Connor, that is available to see now at the Glucskman Gallery, main campus UCC.
Miriam describes the project and resulting artwork very well on her website here.
The project enabled our students to work with Miriam, producing their own creative work along the way, focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goal of ‘Reduced Inequalities’. We received very positive feedback from the student participants.
The project was funded by the CUBS Philanthropic Fund to enhance student experience. We are grateful for that funding. This was the second year of the project and in the first year the artist Peter Nash created the work I Always Thought We'd Have More Time.
A legacy of the project is that these works will become part of the UCC Collection and will be displayed in the new CUBS Building.
