Biography

Dr. Siobhán Lucey received her PhD from the University of Glasgow.  She is a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and an Erasmus+ DELTA scholar.  She is also an alumni of the Advance HE Aurora programme for female leaders.  She is an experienced lecturer in Economics and has held visiting scholar positions at the University of Edinburgh, University of St. Andrews, University of Dundee and University of Strathclyde.   Her academic and research interests focus on various areas of applied econometrics including crime, education and EDI.  She is Chair of the University's External Examiners Committee and Co-founder and President of the University Women's Network (Mná@UCC).
