Dr. Karen M. Neville, BSc, MSc, PhD in IS Security, MA in Social Learning, and Diploma in Higher Education. Dr. Neville is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems (BIS) and academic co-director of the award winning MBS in IS for Business Performance (ISBP). She is Managing Director and founder of the Centre for Resilience and Business Continuity (CRBC) with over €3.5 million in research funding. Prior to this she was Managing Director of a training and web consultancy with multinationals as clients. Her research focus is on IS Security decision-making, knowledge management and simulated learning tools. Dr. Neville has been a PI/Co-PI of funded research projects from industry, EU and Enterprise Ireland with experience managing projects (security, knowledge management and learning simulation) and SW developers. She has published in a number of national and international journals and conference proceedings. She is co-chair of UCC’s Community-Academic Research Links (CARL) Committee and vice chair of the University Social Responsibility Programme (USREP).
