Biography

Dr Carolanne Mahony is a lecturer and researcher in the Business Information Systems department, Cork University Business School (CUBS), University College Cork, Ireland. She is co-director of the MSc in Design and Development of Digital Business. Dr Mahony is Founder and Director of Eitic, a multidisciplinary research cluster which aims to anticipate the future negative impacts of information systems and affect positive change. Her research interest includes how individuals assess and use information and technology, technology ethics, and teaching & learning. She has previously published in the areas of eHealth, Decision Support, Teaching & Learning and Information Behaviour. Previous to reentering academia to complete her PhD, she spent several years working in supply chain.
