Last week, at the CUBS Conference we were delighted to launch a new Module at CUBS called the planet module, created to equip students and staff with a high level of knowledge about environmental aspects of sustainability. This will complement the learning students undertake in their chosen programme of study. While this CUBS e-learning module will specifically focus on the environment, it's important to remember that sustainability is built on three connected pillars: environmental, social, and economic. These pillars work together, and progress in one area often depends on progress in the others. The module is open to all UCC staff as well as students.
Course Overview
The course will be delivered fully on Canvas and will be comprised of readings, reflections and video recordings with academics from across UCC who will share their perspective on their chosen topics. The course delivered over 9 blocks, is self-paced and there is a short quiz at the end of each block. You must successfully complete each quiz before progressing to the next Block.
