Four CUBS Professors Ranked Among the World’s Top 2% of Scientists

Cork University Business School is proud to announce that four of its leading academics have been recognised among the world’s Top 2% of Scientists, as identified in the Stanford/Elsevier global database. This prestigious ranking highlights researchers whose work has demonstrated significant impact through citations and scholarly influence across their respective fields.

The four CUBS academics honoured in this year’s list are:

  • Professor Anthony McDonnell, Dean of Cork University Business School
  • Professor Valeria Andreoni
  • Professor Thomas Garavan
  • Professor Thomas Butler

The Stanford/Elsevier database identifies the top 2% of scientists worldwide based on comprehensive metrics evaluating research citations, co-authorship, and long-term impact, providing a benchmark for global academic excellence.
