Congratulations to Dylan Dunne, 4th year BSc Finance student at Cork University Business School, University College Cork for securing a place on Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers programme!
Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers is the nationwide programme for ambitious startup founders with an innovative business idea that has the potential to scale and provide employment. New Frontiers equips founders with the right connections, the right skills, and the right route to capital to empower them to build a successful and sustainable startup business.
In May 2025, as part of the UCC student cohort led by Prof Joe Bogue and Dr Lana Repar, Dylan joined Student Inc., Ireland’s longest running student accelerator programme established by Munster Technological University and supported by the Higher Education Authority in 2025. Student Inc. encourages student entrepreneurs across all the disciplines to assess the feasibility of their business ideas and start a business in a safe and nurturing environment. Dylan’s business idea? Cora is an AI-powered product information platform that helps retail brands keep their in-store staff fully informed. Brands upload all of their product content — descriptions, manuals, protocols, etc — and staff use Cora to instantly answer customer questions at the counter or on the shop floor. This ensures their products are confidently recommended and accurately represented at the point of sale. Towards the end of his time at Student Inc., Dylan was successful in his interview for New Frontiers Phase 2, a full-time six-month programme commencing on the 25th of September. He noted:
‘Being accepted into Phase 2 of New Frontiers is a big step forward. It gives me the time and support to properly build Cora — and turn it into a tool that retail staff can rely on every day.’
Best of luck, Dylan!
