Congratulations to Aoife Cronin (Finance 4) who captained the UCC Hockey women’s 2nds team which secured a historic league and cup double—the first ever for a UCC Division 2 side—before completing an unprecedented treble by also winning the Examiner Cup against Division 1 opposition.
The panel during the year included several members from CUBS including Gill O’Leary (BComm 4), Amy O’Shea (BComm 3), Katie Moore (BIS 2), Emily Nolan (IBL 2), FME2 students Amy Nangle and Leah Hayes, and BComm 1 students Ella Lehane, Susie Nolan and Bethanne O’Farrell. The team was coached by Prof. Mark Mulcahy (Department of Accounting & Finance, CUBS).
