Cork University Business School (CUBS) is the new and dynamic Business School of University College Cork (UCC), building on over 100 years of business education at UCC. It was established in December 2014 and comprises of the following Departments.
- Accounting, Finance and Information Systems
- Economics
- Food Business and Development
- Management and Marketing
Through our departments and centres we have established national and international reputations in a number of areas. Our centres include:
- Centre for Co-Operatives Studies
- Centre for Investment Research (CIR)
- Centre for Open Research and Practice (CORP)
- Centre for Policy Studies
- Centre for Sustainable Livelihoods
- Financial Services Innovation Centre (FSIC)
- Governance Risk and Compliance Technology Centre (GRCTC)
- Health Information Systems Research Centre (HIRSC)
- Institute for Business Development and Competitiveness
CUBS is one of the two largest business schools in Ireland with:
- The largest number of fulltime undergraduate students;
- The second largest number of full-time graduate students;
- The largest amount of research income.
Drawing on the already well-established foundation at UCC, CUBS will build on its recognised strengths with expansion of its undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education offering, ensuring that the business programmes offered by CUBS, will continue to produce the skillsets and qualifications the business world needs.
