Dr Mari O' ConnorBack
Mari O' Connor is a lecturer in the Department of Economics and a research associate in the Spatial and Regional Economics Research Centre (SRERC). Mari’s research interests lie in the areas of patents, inventors, innovation, entrepreneurship and regional economics. Mari was awarded her PhD from Queen’s University Belfast which focused on the relationship between patented inventions and entrepreneurship. She previously graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and a MBS Business Economics from UCC. Mari is also the Programme Director for the Economics of Business Practice (CKJ01).
