Biography

Paidi O’Reilly (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems at Cork University Business School (CUBS). He is co-director of the 'Innovation through Design Thinking' postgraduate programme delivered jointly between CUBS and the School in Education. He is Chair of the Digital Transformation Lab @ UCC. He was previously a Research Fellow in the SFI funded INFANT Research Centre in UCC. 

Paidi is on the global lecturing panel at the Irish Management Institute. In the past he has been Director of Innovation & Research with a UK headquartered technology company. He has over twenty five years of experience working on innovation and research projects in a range of industries, including finance, engineering, healthcare, etc. The majority of his professional experience has been in managing and consulting with various organisations.

His research interests include innovation, design, design thinking, and decision making. In 2011 he was awarded a PhD for his research into the innovation strategies of organisations. He has published his work in leading academic and practitioner outlets.
