Dr Patrice Cooper

Biography

Dr. Patrice Cooper is a Management lecturer in UCC's Department of Managment and Marketing. She has over 25 years experience lecturing in management, strategic management, leadership and change managment, at an undergraduate, postgraduate and post experience level.  She is a qualified Executive Coach and accredited Action Learning Facilitator. Her research interests are primarliy in the area of leadership.  Her current research interests are in leadership transitions (into and out of leadership roles) and identity.  She is currently leading out on an evaluation study of the impact of a major leadership development prgoramme within the Irish health services.  As a current student of psychotherapy and counselling she is also interested in applying psychotherapuetic concepts to the study of organisations and in the deivery of executive education.
