Dr Gordon Sirr

Biography

Dr. Gordon Sirr is a Researcher in Economics with interests in environmental, energy, business and financial economics. He has held Senior Postdoctoral and Postdoctoral Researcher roles at several Irish universities including University College Cork (UCC), University of Galway (formerly NUIG), University College Dublin (UCD) and University of Limerick (UL). Dr. Sirr has a strong track record of publishing high-quality research in leading international journals including Energy Policy, The Energy Journal, Renewable Energy, Risk Analysis, EuroChoices, International Business Review, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, and Development Policy Review. He has also authored reports for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). Dr. Sirr regularly presents his research to policymakers and at national and international conferences.
