Biography

Yuting is a Lecturer in Finance at UCC, where he currently teaches MSc modules AC6108 Venture Capital & Private Equity and AC6031 Issues in Modern Finance. He completed his PhD in Banking & Finance, jointly supervised by University College Dublin and ESC Rennes School of Business. His research focuses on Behavioral Finance, Applied Econometrics, and Asset Pricing, with a particular interest in mutual fund studies. 

Yuting has presented his work at numerous prestigious conferences, including the Econometrics Society World Congress (2025), EEA-ESEM (2023), IAAE (2024), and the 29th Multinational Finance Society Annual Conference, where he received the Best Paper Award. His contributions to the field are evident in his publications, including in Economics Letters, and his work has also been disseminated through working paper series, such as the Central Bank of Ireland Research Technical Papers. Yuting has worked as a PhD researcher at the Central Bank of Ireland, where he focused on mutual fund fragility and macroprudential policies. He continues his affiliation with the Central Bank as a Research Affiliate.
