The Department of Economics and the School of History are proud to host the annual Economic and Social History Society of Ireland Conference in the UCC Centre for Executive Education.
The Economic and Social History Society of Ireland was formed in 1970 to promote the study of economic and social history in Ireland. It is now a vigorous organization, with a world-wide membership, and some influence within Ireland on matters related to the teaching of these key subjects.
This year’s Connell Lecture will be delivered by Morgan Kelly, Professor of Economics at University College Dublin
