Social Supermarket Knowledge Exchange

Dr Emma Beacom from the Department of Food Business & Development, along with Ulster University Business School, will host a Social Supermarket Knowledge Exchange Webinar on Tuesday 17th June.

This event will present an overview of Social Supermarket implementation in Northern Ireland and will present a framework for development and management of Social Supermarkets. The event is targeted towards those working in the food aid sector in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland who may be interested in developing or finding out more about Social Supermarkets. At the event Dr Beacom will present findings from an ongoing project on Social Supermarkets funded by the British Academy of Management and Irish Academy of Management, and other speakers include James Elliot, Department for Communities, Northern Ireland, and Eimear Delahunty, Food Cloud, Cork. The event will also feature a panel including those with experience developing and managing social supermarkets.
