Business Information Systems (BIS) at the Cork University Business School, University College Cork, are delighted to invite students across Munster to participate in MakeITWork in 2019/2020
This initiative will give students a chance to see UCC’s campus and BIS laboratories, to work in teams solving interesting problems, and to get a taste of what working in modern business environment entails. We hope that the day will help students think about the kinds of careers they might like to pursue, and gain a better understanding of the role of technology in business. Students will also gain insight into the BIS degree at UCC, enabling them to make an informed decision when choosing their third level course.
The dates & particpant details for the event this year are as follows;
Tuesday 12th November 2019 - Leaving Certificate Students (registration open - 21st October 2019)
Tuesday 3rd December 2019 - Leaving Certificate Students (registration open - 11th November 2019)
Tuesday 14th January 2020 - Leaving Certificate Students (registration open - 9th December 2019)
Tuesday 11th February 2020 - 5th Year & Transition Year Students (registration open - 20th Jan 2020)
Tuesday 10th March 2020 - 5th Year & Transition Year Students (registration open - 10th Feb 2020)
All interested candidates please contact your School Guidance Counsellor at first instance.
There is a maximum of 4 students per school as numbers are limited. Gender-mixed schools should identify 2 female and 2 male participants
