Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support: Exploring New Opportunities for Innovation in Healthcare

Hosted by Health Information Systems Research Centre, Department of Business Information Systems in collaboration with OneHealthTech Ireland, this public event will promote conversations to explore some possible paths leveraging ML/AI & modern decision support to enhance decision making in healthcare.

Decision making in the modern healthcare system presents serious challenges: How AI can we ensure positive outcomes for patients?

How do we maximise limited resources? Are there better ways to care for people?

The questions cannot be easily answered without examining existing data.

Machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques can yield useful insights into existing and improved care processes.
