Irish Finance Symposium

Cork University Business School is delighted to host the Irish Finance Symposium on November 24th.

This inaugural event brings together the Irish academic finance community with contributors from University College Cork, University College Dublin, Dublin City University, Trinity College Dublin, Queens University Belfast, Natioinal University of Ireland Maynooth, Natioinal University of Ireland Galway and University of Limerick.

The symposium includes papers on a range of topics in finance including commodity pricing, option pricing, event study methodology, fund performance, crossborder M&A, IPOs, portfolio allocation, return predictability and price bubbles, long memory in financial markets and volatility and investor sentiment.

The event has been organised by Professor Niall O'Sullivan.  It is open to all with an interest in finance and financial markets.
