Getting BREXIT Ready: SME Internationalization

As the March 2019 deadlines approaches, the second master class of the InterTradeIreland and All-Island Innovation Programme will focus on BREXIT

This event will take place in the UCC Library Creative Zone on Thursday October 11th, comprising of three interrelated sessions as detailed in the schedule here.

Session  Getting BREXIT Ready
SME challenges when internationalizing: The where and how?
Date Thursday 11 October
Time 8:30 - 12:30
Venue UCC Library Creative Zone
Registration Register to attend

The morning will open with a discussion from InterTradeIreland of practical strategies that SME's can adopt in Getting BREXIT Ready and provide information on their SME grant scheme to assist planning and development of an action plan.

This will be followed by our academic masterclass where Dr. Breda Kenny of CIT's Department of Management & Enterprise and Board member of the European Council for Small Business & Entrepreneurship will deliver a session entitled "SME challenges when internationalizing: The where and how?".

The third and final part of the event will introduce attendees to the All Island Open Innovation Platform (AIOIP) which has been developed to nurture inter-organizational collaborative innovation and enhancement of the innovation ecosystem (both regionally and at an All Island level).

Given the potential turbulence of BREXIT for all industry, but especially the SME sector, we hope that these sessions will be of assistance in helping you explore options for your company and plan for the future.

This event is targeted at the regional industrial audience and applied in focus.
Attendance is free but registration in advance is required to facilitate room capacity and catering.
