Daniel graduated from UCC with a First Class Honours BComm degree in 2012. Following this, he joined the Audit Department in PwC, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA).

In 2017 he joined Voxpro as a Financial Analyst, where he worked for a year and a half, with a particular focus on the sale of the business to Telus Corp. In June 2018, he joined Musgrave as a Financial Accountant.

Daniel has balanced his studies and professional career while also playing hurling for his Club, College and County at the highest level. He has won 4 Cork Senior Hurling Championships with Sarsfields, 1 Fitzgibbon Cup with UCC and 3 Munster Senior Championships with Cork. He was twice nominated for an All Star Award in 2013 and 2018.
