Biography
Dr. Wang joins CUBS from the Essex Business School, University of Essex where he was an Assistant Professor in Finance. He completed his PhD in Finance at the University of Glasgow and also holds a MSc from Columbia University, and a BSc in Applied Mathematics from Hunan University, China. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Advance HE, UK. His research interests broadly lie in the areas of Capital Structure, Corporate Governance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Banking. His research papers have been presented at major international conferences including FMA Applied Finance, FMA, EFMA, and AsianFA. He also had industry experience in alternative investment during his master studies in New York.
